Class Description: Using live music as a guide, this Hatha yoga class incorporates breathwork, mantra, and yoga postures to cultivate inner strength and serenity. From kirtan to Native American flute and hammer dulcimer, each class features a different healing artist and a variety of musical genres.
Noah Proudfoot has spent the last 10 years living and performing music in the mountains of North Carolina. He completed his yoga teacher training at The Yoga Bridge in Black Mountain and is passionate about sharing his love of kirtan, mantra, and devotional music.
In this class participants will:
-Relax the nervous system through breath control techniques
-Increase the flow of energy in the body through a variety of yoga postures
-Develop an understanding of mantra and the Sanskrit language
-Cultivate mindfulness and presence in community with others
