“Authentic Voicework” is a systematic approach of releasing pressure in the energetic fields of the body (physical, psychosomatic or somato-emotional self) through vocal exercises, singing games, sounds and breathwork to access the unencumbered natural voice within.
Through this Yoga of the Voice practice, layers of misconceptions, illusions and false beliefs about one’s voice will peel away, ultimately yielding a quiet meditation and surrender. Similar to the benefits of meditation, these vocal sounding practices heighten the sensation of inner silence, allowing you to hear your inner voice with clarity. The experience can be quite astounding, even drawing awareness to things we must attend to or changes in direction needed in our lives.
Stopping to listen to the inner voice is an awakening that can happen in a matter of moments of deep impactful voicework exercises – Yoga of the Voice.
