This workshop is for everyone, artists and non-artists alike, interested in living a full, juicy, creative life. By touching into our creative impulse through the embodied and tactile approach of Touch Drawing, we open ever more deeply into the creative heart of life itself, so that our lives become living works of art and divine inspiration.
Touch Drawing is an embodied inquiry process
that involves using one’s fingers to draw present moment experience directly on a piece of paper that has been placed on an inked surface. The moment of “now” directs the expression, creating a “snapshot” of our full experience of the moment, a reflection of our soul seen on paper!
In this workshop, we will:
- Explore the relationship between creativity and spirituality
- Use expressive arts, movement, and creative visualization to connect to our inner source of creativity
- Discover more about what activates and what blocks creativity
- Explore the perspective that creativity is a cosmic and generative process
- Learn to tap into the vital and creative energy available in each moment
- Explore simple and effective tools and practices for connecting with your inner artist as a source of creativity, inspiration, and guidance.
No prior experience with art or creativity is required and all experiential work and exercises are done in a nonjudgmental and unconditionally supportive environment, so come connect to your inner artist and play!
