Are you a stiff guy? Or do you know someone who suffers from occasional aches or chronic back pain, or simply needs to release their back – from the computer’s glow, gardening, slackin’, running, or biking? You know, tight hamstrings, lower back, shoulders, pain in the neck, can’t touch your toes? If you’re as flexible as a telephone pole, you’re in good company, because you represent the majority of the population. Never fear! You will learn:

A yogini since age 23, Ann Mundy suffered from a major back and neck injury, and finally realized that some yoga was hurting instead of helping her. For her 500hour certification in Therapeutic Yoga, she wrote extensive research papers on the sacroiliac joint, back problems, and anatomy. In the process, she restored her health with yoga and healed her own chronic back and neck pain, developing her unique practice Bluebird Yoga. She studied at Forrest Yoga and Continuum in Santa Monica, Subtle Yoga in Asheville, and includes Viniyoga and Energy Medicine techniques.
Now she wants to share these healing therapeutic postures, breathing techniques, and energy medicine that alleviate pain, develop abdominal strength for back support and great posture, and renew energy. Her personal story and magnificent healing from physical trauma is an inspiration and the perfect foundation to share her healing techniques.
Her students run the gamut from those who simply enjoy the benefits of Bluebird Yoga to those with arthritis, PTS, TBI (traumatic brain injury), Parkinson’s, spinal cord trauma, osteoporosis, sciatica, SI joint, or general back pain and stiffness caused by gardening, bicycling, running, sitting at a computer, and general stress.
