You need not go far to find medicinal plants, they are everywhere! In this class you will meet, eat, and become acquainted with common plants that are found in abundance, their edible and medicinal uses, and go home with a new sense of wonder at what awaits you in your own back yard.
Sandi Ford, MS, Clinical Herbalist, Health and Nutrition Coach
Sandi Ford has been working with medicinal plants for twenty years. Sandi, the Assistant Director of Education at The Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine, maintains a consultation practice, teaches at various herb schools, local colleges, and is the Herbal Adviser for the Warren Wilson College Wellness Crew. Sandi teaches that it is our daily relationship with the plants as food, medicine, and friends that is truly healing. Her passion for working with people, teaching, and plants is contagious.
