Class Description: Tai Chi is an ancient form of martial arts practiced to increase health and improve balance. It is a moving meditation that improves mental clarity while providing physical fitness that is slow and flowing like nature. Though taught as a martial art and self-defense, by utilizing life force or “Chi” and the breath, the student can relieve stress in every aspect of life.
In this class participants will:
- Enjoy an immersive, guided Yang style 24 form Tai Chi sequence
- Increase strength, coordination and balance.
- Be surrounded by students at all levels and ages.
- Feel confident in taking home one or more of the Tai Chi forms you learned from this class for continued daily practice.
