Description: In the heart of the Winter, OM Sanctuary offers a warm & inviting indoor space to find balance – physically, mentally, & emotionally. Over the course of four, 2-hour workshops throughout the month of February we will strengthen our bodies and minds through an engaging combination of Slackline & Mindfulness.
Slacklining is an emerging balance sport that offers an array of health benefits – from increasing focus & concentration to building leg & core strength. The sport offers an easy and exciting avenue to bring embodied movement into mindfulness practice. Slack-Librium founder Jesse Goldman has designed each workshop for participants of any skill level in order to accommodate a diverse range of individuals. Each class will include a blend of experiential mindfulness practice, reflection, group discussion, and of course slackline instruction & practice. Each class will revolve around a separate theme: Relaxation, Concentration, Balance, & Patience.
